Michael Ervin
Michael is the owner and Head Landman at Ervin Land Services, Inc., a family-owned Landwork company specializing in mineral and surface ownership title, finding and reporting oil and gas production data, lease purchasing and negotiation, and mineral buying and selling mediation.
He has been an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) since 2013 and has served in multiple production plays around the state of Texas, including Reeves, Martin, Howard, Midland, Washington, Fayette, Lee, Austin, Henderson, Anderson, Wilson, Karnes, Lavaca, Gonzales, and Bexar counties. Michael’s ten-year career has focused on mineral ownership reports, title abstract preparation, locating and reporting oil and gas production, creating contracts for lease agreements, and risk assessment reports. He has extensive experience with the inner workings of the County Appraisal District, the Railroad Commission website, title search sites, county courthouses, and abstract plants. Michael is also a notary public and a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Michael was blessed to grow up in Brenham, Texas and is currently raising his family there. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Julia, for nine years. They have a smart, energetic six-year-old boy and are expecting their second son in the summer of 2020. He also has a love for music, movies, and cooking.
